HISTORY

The Jetty House is located close to the wharf, and has been the centre of life in this still active fishing port and haven for cruising boats.

Built in 1876 it served as a home for the family of Joseph Graves as well as mill office and store for 20 years, It then became home to three generations of the Hay Family before being holiday home for thousands of Hobart and Huon School children when it passed to the Christian Brothers.

Rose & Carl

Home to Rose, Carl and formerly to their two children, Emilie and Amber for 20 years now, it sometimes feels like you are visiting friends. Carl's legendary innovations and woodcraft are all around. Rose's home grown and home cooked treats are just part of the experience. They love the Far South and will be happy to advise you to make sure you get the most out of your stay.
